gnome-games software package provides games for the GNOME desktop, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-games
gnome-games is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-games package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-games *
You will get with gnome-games package name, version, architecture and description in a table
